Wat Sothonwararam Worawihan

Wat Sothonwararam Worawihan stands along the Bang Pakong River as one of Chachoengsao’s most revered sacred landmarks. Known as the home of Luang Pho Phuttha Sothon, the temple holds a place of deep devotion in the spiritual life of the province and far beyond. Its origins reach back to the late Ayutthaya period, and over generations it has become a place where prayer, gratitude, and faith are carried by an unbroken flow of worshippers.

With the support of his Majesty King Rama IX, temple’s architecture reflects the unwavering devotion. As its religious importance grew, the new ubosot was created on a monumental scale, with a central spire and a luminous architectural presence worthy of one of Thailand’s most visited places of worship. The temple use of Michaelangelo's Carrara marble on the exterior reinforces the building’s sense of clarity, permanence, and sacred composure.

For this important setting, BMG carried out the exterior and wall works of the temple, including the White Carrara elements across the roof and wall surfaces. White Carrara brings a quiet radiance to the building — refined, enduring, and calm — allowing the structure to hold light with grace while strengthening its atmosphere.
