Wat Samakkhi Uppatham, also known as Wat Phu Kratae, stands in Bueng Kan as a temple closely bound to the memory and spiritual legacy of Luang Pu Thongphun Sirikamo (Phra Yansitthachan). Buddhists in the surrounding area know the temple as his former residence and a place where devotees continue to come in reverence, reflecting the enduring role of the monastery within the devotional life of the region.
Within this sacred setting, BMG contributed to the Chedi Ariyamongkol Sirithamwat, executed in Thai granite to give the monument a grounded and enduring presence appropriate to its role as a memorial and repository of sacred value. BMG also created a carved White Carrara statue of Luang Pu Thongphun within the same spiritual landscape.
Together, these works shape a place of reverence. The granite chedi carries the weight of permanence, allowing sacred meaning to be held in a material suited to long continuity. The White Carrara statue adds clarity, stillness, and human connection. In this relationship, stone becomes both guardian and witness.
