Volga Blue

Volga Blue, commonly sourced from Ukraine, is known for iridescent blue feldspar crystals suspended in a dark ground. Like Blue Pearl, its light is structural rather than applied. The surface can appear nearly black from one angle and suddenly luminous from another, making the viewer's movement part of the material.
